The Multi-Family Housing Coordinator, under limited supervision, develops and implements activities to stabilize, maintain, and enhance multifamily communities. Key responsibilities include coordinating resident engagement activities, enforcing minimum housing standards through inspections, and establishing partnerships with community managers. The role involves organizing events, responding to resident complaints, conducting public meetings and training, and interacting with various stakeholders. Additionally, the coordinator enhances residents' quality of life by developing strategies for long-term maintenance and coordinates City services to ensure consistent and effective program implementation.

• Develops and implements resident engagement activities by coordinating and facilitating on-site meetings, block parties, and information sessions and interacting directly with residents regarding City services.
• Ensures communities maintain minimum housing standards by administering an inspection program, coordinating with Code Compliance staff, conducting inspections, enforcing City codes, and responding to resident complaints.
• Establishes partnerships with local community managers by serving as an information resource, providing technical support, and providing information regarding City services and ordinance requirements.
• Enhances quality of life for residents by developing strategies and policies for addressing common multi-family community issues and identifying and resolving issues related to long-term maintenance.
• Coordinates services across City departments by creating procedures to assist departments in consistent and effective inspection programs and complaint response and collaborating with departments and other agencies to provide on-site services.

Education and Experience:

Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Education and experience that provide the necessary knowledge and skills may also be considered, but a typical way to qualify is by obtaining:

• a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
