Role Description

The Automotive Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Allen, TX. The mechanic will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repair services on a variety of passenger vehicles and light trucks, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical issues, completing scheduled services, and documenting work performed in a clear and accurate manner. The mechanic will interact directly with customers to explain findings, provide service recommendations, and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.

The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, following safety guidelines, and collaborating with the team to support efficient, quality-focused service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to perform routine services and preventative care.
  • Hands-on experience in Automotive Repair and general Automotive systems, including engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical components.
  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide professional service at all times.
  • Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., ASE) or formal training from a technical or trade school are preferred.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software, interpret repair manuals, and follow manufacturer specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a clean driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an on-site, customer-facing environment.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and parts, stand for extended periods, and perform mechanical tasks safely.
