"OB/GYN Hospitalist Locum Opportunity TexasA healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for an ongoing hospitalist opportunity.

This role offers 24-hour in-house call coverage within a collaborative labor and delivery environment supported by Certified Nurse Midwives and a dedicated OB Emergency Department.

Compensation:

Rate: $3,700 per 24 hours

Holiday Bill Rate: $5,550 per 24 hours

48 shifts per monthEMR:
Epic Clinical Responsibilities Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies

Provide care for unassigned OB/GYN patients

Cover the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
Serve as surgical first assist when required

Provide backup support to Certified Nurse Midwives Respond to emergent labor and delivery situations

Perform Cesarean sections and other urgent OB/GYN procedures as necessary

Practice Setting Hospital-Based
24-Hour In-House Coverage Collaborative multidisciplinary care team Dedicated OB Emergency Department Patient Volume Approximately 300400 annual deliveries

Required Experience & Skills Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Texas Medical License Active DEA Registration Minimum of 2 years of recent experience performing:

Vaginal Deliveries Cesarean Sections Comfortable managing OB/GYN emergencies independently

Support Staff Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
Hospital-Based OB/GYN Team Labor & Delivery Support Staff Surgical Support Team Travel & Accommodations Travel assistance is available and may include:
