We are looking for an outstanding HLTA to lead the support of SEN students with literacy difficulties and students who have English as an Additional Language (EAL). Experience of delivering support in either of these areas of need as a HLTA or TA is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will lead targeted interventions for students with additional literacy needs, including those with EAL. The HLTA will plan, deliver, and assess the impact of small group and one-to-one support, working closely with the SENDCo and other teaching staff to ensure all learners can access and achieve in the curriculum.

• Plan and deliver tailored literacy interventions (e.g., phonics, reading comprehension, spelling, writing).
• Support teachers to engage students in class who have literacy difficulties.
