City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and small group academic support in partner schools
• Build positive relationships with students to promote engagement and attendance
• Support classroom management and a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Track and report student progress using established tools and data systems
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and City Year teammates on service plans
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Assist with school-wide events, after-school programs, and family engagement activities
