Supplier Quality Engineer – KONE Americas, Allen, TX.
Responsibilities- Execute operational Supplier Quality Management activities at KONE suppliers.
- Provide leadership to suppliers and support internal stakeholders across teams such as Sourcing, Supply Lines, Technology, Modernization, Spares, Major Projects, and Installation.
- Conduct supplier audits in line with the annual audit plan.
- Manage the Quality Annex within the Supply and Purchasing Frame Agreement in collaboration with the KONE Contract Owner.
- Participate in PD/CR projects to ensure supplier launch readiness through risk management (FMEA), Critical‑to‑Quality (CtQ), and change management (KPPAP) activities.
- Audit suppliers and manage supplier performance.
- Apply ISO 9001/14001/18001/45001 standards and related quality management tools such as QC plans, CtQ, SPC, FMEA, DMAIC, Six Sigma, Lean, and mistake‑proofing.
- Utilize Advanced Product Quality Planning and TS16949 standard, methodology, and tools.
- Perform root cause corrective action and preventive action within manufacturing.
- Manage stakeholder and contract relationships.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in engineering, manufacturing, processes & methods, supplier quality management, quality engineering, supply chain management, and sourcing (or related fields).
- Minimum
B.Sc. in STEM, quality, or industrial engineering; alternatively, 8 years of related experience may substitute for a degree. - In‑depth knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning and the TS16949 standard, methodology, and tools.
- Experience with root cause corrective action and preventive action in a manufacturing setting.

The hiring range for this role is $87,300 – $114,555. Variable compensation includes a 10% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
