LandUse Technician
The Land Use Planner and Project Manager by preparing and submitting jurisdiction applications in order to obtain necessary entitlements and construction permits. Strong communication skills are necessary to successfully work with multiple teams and jurisdictions to effectively hit project forecasts. A successful candidate will be able to manage internal and external databases and relay project updates to our clients. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to join our growing team and gain valuable experience in the planning field, specializing in wireless telecommunication and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
EssentialActivities
- Obtain necessary zoning entitlements and construction permits for wireless telecommunication and electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects.
- Manage internal and external databases in order to track project statuses
- Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and jurisdictional websites
- Analyze jurisdiction ordinances to support Land Use Planner on zoning regulations
- Manage zoning and permitting timelines related to permit applications
- Communication with the jurisdictions and internal/external teams
- Initiate daily Fed Ex, certified and standard mailers and corresponding tracking reports scan, title, and upload document
- Drafting photo simulations
- Client deployment calls
- Travel (10%)

- Strong oral and written communication
- Highly organized
- Ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities
- Problem solving
- Ability to adjust to changing workload and priorities
- Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word are required
- Hands‑on proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience working with zoning & permitting documents, real property leases, and easements is preferred
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Licenses or Certifications
- Valid driver’s license
