REVIT Drafter – Industrial Power & Mission Critical Projects
Location: Austin, TX or Dallas, TX
Department: Engineering / Power Systems
Reports To: Engineering Manager / Technical Lead
Position SummarySeeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter with advanced Autodesk Revit experience to support mission‑critical, industrial, and power infrastructure projects. This role focuses on developing highly accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, producing coordinated construction documentation, and supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates should have a proven ability to create complete construction drawing packages, maintain drafting standards, and work effectively within fast‑paced project environments.
Portfolio or work samples may be requested during the interview process.
- Develop and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce comprehensive construction documentation packages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
- Manage drawing revisions, document control processes, and project records.
- Support and coordinate Revit standards, workflows, and quality control initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure model coordination and clash resolution.
- Assist with training and mentoring team members on Revit best practices and drafting standards.
- Support project execution across industrial, mission‑critical, manufacturing, and power infrastructure projects.
- Review markups and incorporate revisions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain drafting quality standards while meeting project schedules and deliverable deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience using Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration.
- Thorough understanding of construction documentation standards and drafting practices.
- Experience managing Revit models, templates, and project workflows.
- Ability to interpret engineering markups and implement revisions accurately.
- Strong communication and coordination skills when working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience supporting electrical, industrial, mission‑critical, manufacturing, or data center projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with Solid Works is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
- Experience supporting power distribution, industrial facilities, mission‑critical infrastructure, or data center projects.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment layouts, control systems, and construction coordination processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality design documentation.
