Our best‑in‑class products are just the start as we lay the groundwork for the future of digital banking and payments. We hope you’ll join us. We can’t do it without you.
The IT Cloud Cost Accounting and TBM Strategy Controller position at Jack Henry is a premier opportunity for a finance professional with a genuine passion for cloud technology and infrastructure. Unlike traditional accounting roles, this position calls for someone fluent in both Finance and Engineering—a specialized “cost controller” for our dynamic cloud ecosystem. You’ll independently oversee cloud expense accounting and maintain an auditable, reconciled cost ledger spanning multiple business units and distributed ledgers.
Because our IT spend is spread across diverse and evolving environments, this role demands significant cloud experience and the ability to navigate complex technical landscapes. A strong grasp of AWS, Azure, and GCP architectures is essential, as you’ll evaluate how technical design choices—such as IaaS vs. PaaS or serverless vs. containers—directly impact our financial performance. You’ll also serve as a vital partner to Fin Ops, Dev Ops, and SRE teams, translating high‑level engineering decisions into accurate driver‑based forecasts and long‑term financial impacts.
The ideal candidate is a proactive learner and a dedicated collaborator, able to bridge the gap between technical operations and financial governance. Effective communication and influence with cross‑functional partners in Sourcing, FP&A, and Business Operations will be key to optimizing vendor negotiations and commitment strategies. If you’re a cloud‑savvy finance expert who thrives on building sophisticated models for unit economics and driving financial excellence through partnership, this role is an exceptional fit.
This position will be filled to work a Hybrid schedule at any of the following Jack Henry office locations:
Lenexa, KS / Springfield, MO / Monett, MO or Allen, TX. You are required to come into the office 1 day a week and, based on business needs and meetings, may be required to travel to one of the office locations listed.
This position will have a salary range of $97,800 - $170,000 based on experience and location.
