We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial governance across a multi-entity organization operating within the IT industry
. This role will lead core accounting functions while supporting strategic business initiatives, operational scalability, and financial process improvements in a fast-paced growth environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and prior experience within a SaaS company, staffing organization, and/or IT solutions sales company
. This individual will play a key role in supporting executive leadership and helping position the organization for continued growth and operational maturity.

Compensation for this position ranges from $150,000–$180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, in addition to a performance-based bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and consolidated reporting processes across multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate tax regulations, and applicable financial reporting standards.
  • Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and fixed assets.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and multi-entity financial consolidations.
  • Oversee income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and other business tax filings and compliance requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive reporting initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance procedures.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, mergers & acquisitions activity, and scalable financial infrastructure.
Success Profile Short-Term (0–90 Days)
  • Develop a strong understanding of company operations, subsidiaries, systems, and financial structure.
  • Establish relationships with executive leadership, external partners, and accounting teams.
  • Assess current accounting processes, reporting workflows, and tax compliance procedures.
  • Identify immediate opportunities for operational improvements and reporting efficiencies.
Mid-Term (3-6

Months)
  • Independently lead all close processes, financial reporting, and tax compliance functions.
  • Improve financial visibility through enhanced reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Strengthen internal controls and implement scalable accounting processes across entities.
  • Serve as a trusted financial partner to executive leadership.
Long-Term Success
  • Successfully support company growth initiatives, acquisitions, and operational expansion.
  • Build scalable accounting infrastructure capable of supporting long-term organizational growth.
  • Drive automation, process optimization, and financial reporting improvements.
  • Progress into broader financial leadership responsibilities with a path toward future CFO opportunities.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Active CPA certification required.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
  • Previous experience within a SaaS company, staffing company, and/or IT solutions sales company required.
  • Experience managing multi-entity accounting environments and financial consolidations.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting operations.
  • Experience managing audits, tax filings, and external accounting relationships.
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Sage or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including the ability to leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to improve reporting, analysis, process efficiency, and overall financial operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a holding company or private equity-backed environment.
  • International accounting or multi-currency experience.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions activity.
  • Experience implementing process automation and business intelligence reporting tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Accuracy and timeliness of monthly and annual financial reporting.
  • Successful completion of audits and tax filings with minimal findings or delays.
  • Improvement in close timelines, reporting efficiency, and process automation.
  • Accuracy of forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Effectiveness of internal controls and financial governance procedures.
