Expert Compliance Risk Advisor

Job Description:

• Provide support to internal partners on regulatory compliance requirements and issues related to consumer credit services
• Perform gap assessments of BU/functional area procedural documents against Global Policies
• Work with a variety of teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
• Maintain understanding of business line operating processes, strategies, products, and services
• Participate in exams as the SME by working with the appropriate BU
• Work with the Regulatory Exam Manager in the delivery of ad hoc regulatory requests
• Participate in the preparation and presentation of materials for regulatory meetings
• Work in a team environment, address conflict professionally, and build productive relationships

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Three years' experience in regulatory risk and compliance/audit processes
• Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws and regulations, including FCRA, FACTA, and GLBA preferably from a consumer reporting agency (CRA) perspective
• Understand complex business issues, develop practical, resolving strategies
  
  Comfortable working both independently and in team settings
• Strong research, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
