What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Barber or Cosmetologist at Floyds 99 Barbershop
- Allen, you’ll deliver consistent, high-quality cuts and grooming services while helping guests feel confident walking out the door. This role exists to provide an on-brand experience through strong technical execution, clear communication, and professional service.

Responsibilities include consulting with guests on style goals, performing haircuts and grooming services, maintaining sanitation and tool care, supporting front-of-house flow, and documenting services as needed.

Required qualifications/skills:

• Active Barber or Cosmetology license
• Solid cutting and finishing skills across a range of styles
• Friendly, clear communication and customer service mindset
• Reliability, punctuality, and comfort working onsite full time

You’ll arrive, set up your station, and review the day’s appointments and walk-in flow. Between guests, you’ll reset your space, keep tools organized, and stay ready for the next consult. The pace can vary - some blocks are steady and back-to-back, others give you a moment to clean up, grab a quick drink, and reset before the next guest. By the end of the shift, you’ll close out your station, confirm any next-day needs, and head out knowing you helped people look sharp and feel taken care of.
