Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Allen, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care.

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, and collecting specimens.
• Maintain patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk duties as needed.
• Ensure examination rooms and medical equipment are clean and properly stocked.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

This position is based in a medical office setting in Allen, TX. The role requires standing for extended periods, interacting with patients, and handling medical instruments and supplies.
