Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice CNA to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients and their families during challenging times, ensuring comfort and dignity in end-of-life care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Our offices are located in Allen, TX but the areas of the Metroplex in need of CNA coverage are as follows: _____________, TX area.

Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.

Monitor and document patient overall condition, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient care.

Support patients with memory care needs and those with developmental disabilities as required.

Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans.

Assist in the administration of medications as directed by nursing staff.

Skills Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical documentation processes.

Experience in hospice care or long-term care settings is highly desirable.

Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions effectively.

Familiarity with home health practices and patient-centered care approaches.

Ability to work compassionately with individuals facing developmental disabilities or memory-related challenges.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
