Our Enterprise Service Management team is opening a key position for a Senior Staff Platform Architect specializing in Service Now
. This strategic role will lead the architectural design and integration of Service Now solutions to support evolving business needs.
We are a remote-friendly company with offices in Allen, TX;
Lenexa, KS;
Springfield, MO;
Monett, MO;
Birmingham, AL;
Charlotte, NC; or Louisville, KY. This role may require onsite presence for interviews or onboarding as appropriate.
Salary range: $119,9950 - $188,900, determined based on location and experience. The exact range may vary by location.
All positions may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding to verify identity.

What you’ll be responsible for- Meet with customers to identify requirements and lead design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Service Now solutions.
- Facilitate configuration and customization decisions of the Service Now platform.
- Serve as the technical advisor for the company’s Service Now practice, overseeing technical aspects of all implementations and addressing issues.
- Design and architect integrations with client IT Operations Management tools using Service Now workflows, scripting, and REST APIs.
- Promote Service Now adoption and best practices across internal and external teams.
- Guide architecture design and implementation of the Service Now ITOM suite.
- Lead as Senior Service Now Developer in implementing solution design using best practices.
- Manage and maintain the CMDB in Service Now, including discovery and IT Asset Management; ensure effective cloud and SaaS ingestion and management; optimize Service Mapping for visibility and monitoring.
- Communicate complex ideas with stakeholders and build collaborative relationships across teams and customers.
- Lead operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes for the Service Now platform; maintain patching, versioning, and platform security.
- Provide technical support to the platform team and end users; create knowledge articles and implement enhancements.
- Prepare architecture and design presentations for various stakeholders.
- Stay current with Service Now capabilities, trends, and methodologies; understand business value from ITSM practices and present ROI.
- Lead integration discussions following data management, security, and platform best practices.
- Accountable for KPIs and metrics related to team service levels, project deliverables, and platform performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 13 years of experience in information technology infrastructure development.
- At least 7 years of combined experience with Service Now (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, Integrations, & Discovery).
- Service Now Certification as a System Administrator, Implementer, or Developer.
- Extensive knowledge with:
- Public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Infrastructure components (server, network, storage)
- Strong understanding of Service Now modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, SLM, Asset Management, Event Management, Service Mapping, Dev Ops, CMDB/CSDM, and dashboards.
- Experience with Customer Service Management (CSM) and integration considerations with Common Service Data Model and CMDB.
- Ability to design solutions that balance business value with technical feasibility; strong communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding of cloud services, MID servers, and platform architecture in Service Now.
- Technical consultation and leadership experience bridging gaps across organizations.
- Certified Technical Architect or Certified Master Architect certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Industry-standard certifications (ITIL, Agile, PMP, Dev Ops).
