Complimented by our help desk technicians who deliver best‑in‑class customer service day in and day out, Pravis Engineers are tasked with designing, implementing, documenting, training, and acting as the escalation contact for the in‑scope systems across our client base.

Pravis Engineers work across a wide scope of systems which is best described as the group of foundational systems that you will find in nearly any corporate IT portfolio. While each Pravis Engineer has unique strengths in certain areas and systems, all Pravis Engineers are expected to be generalists capable of supporting each element of the stack.

• Deploy VMs on a Hyper‑V or VMWare cluster, ensuring uniform application of updates, security software, access rights, and other requirements from the client’s application team.
• Manage Palo Alto routers directly or through Panorama, including defining firewall rules, routing table entries, building IPSec tunnels, and researching traffic flow logs.
• Handle ticket escalation requests from the help desk to deliver solutions quickly and provide knowledge transfer.
• Receive a vulnerability report, analyze findings, recommend remediation, test and implement remediation, and provide evidence of remediation.
• Program and deploy a layer‑2 network switch: set VLANs, management IPs, perform firmware updates, mount the switch in the client’s rack, stack multiple switches, and provide triage support the next morning.
• Research obscure Windows Server issues reported by the client’s application teams, propose and implement resolutions, and propagate resolutions across the client portfolio as needed.
• Plan IT infrastructure needs for office moves: travel to uninstall equipment, install at the new location, reprogram equipment, and provide triage support the next morning.
• Review reported web threats, evaluate for false positives, and implement remediations using Cisco Umbrella, Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto, or Sophos.
• Investigate issues affecting multiple workstations, design solutions, implement via Group Policy or Intune, and monitor deployment success.
• Develop Power Shell scripts to manage Office 365, Azure
  
  AD, or Intune efficiently.
• Deploy software packages or configurations across 1000+ workstations using Group Policy, Intune, or SCCM.
• Expedite a wide array of help desk and infrastructure requests for client VIPs.
• Provide project updates and constraints to client stakeholders.
• Review reported phishing or malicious email threats, evaluate for false positives, and implement remediations using Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, or Mimecast.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $ per year
