Materials Management Intern
Reporting to:
Planning and Purchasing

Position Overview:

The Materials Management Intern will support the Materials and Supply Chain team by assisting with data accuracy, inventory analysis, purchasing activities, and production tracking. This role provides hands-on exposure to materials planning, procurement, and operational analysis.
Projects & Responsibilities:

Continue the project of updating purchase part descriptions in EVO, with a focus on standardization, commonality, and consistency
Research and compile Country of Origin (COO) information for existing parts, including HTS codes and supporting documentation, to support tariff mitigation efforts
Assist with new part setup procedures, ensuring accurate and complete system entries
Conduct inventory analysis and provide recommendations for Reorder Levels (ROL) and Reorder Amounts (ROA), focusing on one to two product lines
Execute purchase orders under the guidance of the Materials team
Track and report production status for defined projects and schedules

Learning Outcomes:

Exposure to ERP systems and materials data management
Understanding of inventory planning and procurement processes
Experience supporting compliance-related supply chain initiatives
Development of analytical and cross-functional communication skills

Manufacturing Intern
Reporting to:
Production

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Intern will support shop floor operations and continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with documentation, process analysis, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) activities. This role provides hands-on experience in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and production systems.
Projects & Responsibilities:

Assist with documenting storage locations and updating floor maps to support 6S initiatives and improve material flow
Support the development and ongoing maintenance of strip templates
Provide fixture support by inventorying existing fixtures and assisting in the development of preventive maintenance (PM), replacement plans, and additional fixture requirements
Conduct time studies to support a modular MES approach and process optimization
Assist with MES setup tasks and system configuration
Participate in Value Stream Mapping activities to identify waste and improvement opportunities
Support P-FMEA and Control Plan development for one defined process or work area

Learning Outcomes:

Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Hands-on experience with MES tools and shop floor data collection
Understanding of process documentation, risk analysis, and quality planning
Collaboration with operations, engineering, and quality teams

IT Systems Intern
Reporting to: IT

Position Overview:

The IT Systems Intern supports day-to-day information technology operations by assisting with hardware builds, troubleshooting help desk tickets, and resolving employee IT harwar5e concerns. This role provides hands on exposure to enterprise IT systems, end-user support, and technical problems solving in a professional environment.
Projects & Responsibilities:

Build, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop hardware for new and existing employees
Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets related to hardware, peripherals, and basic software issues
Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and accessories
Support basic network connectivity and system access issues
