Software Test Engineer; VIOP​/LMR

Software Test Engineer (VoIP / LMR) – Contract-to-Hire

Employment: W2 Only (No C2C or Vendors)

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer with experience testing VoIP software applications, preferably integrated with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with manual and automated testing, Windows/Linux environments, networking, virtualization, and test automation within Agile teams.

• 5+ years of manual and/or automated software testing in Agile environments
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing
• Experience identifying testing automation gaps and implementing automation improvements
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server environment
• Python, Power Shell, Jenkins, Ansible, or Selenium
• Wireshark log analysis and troubleshooting ESXi or RHEL-KVM virtualization
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or similar Agile tools
• Experience using Test Rail or Azure Dev Ops for test management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience testing analog or digital Push-to-Talk (PTT) radio systems
• Experience with security testing, including Nessus scanning
