As our Field Competence Development Manager for KONE Americas in Allen, TX, you will partner with multiple teams to conduct comprehensive needs analysis and then provide expert guidance on effecting learning strategies. You will coordinate, develop, and oversee the delivery of training programs and materials across multiple locations, designing and developing high‑impact learning programs tailored to evolving business needs.
Job Duties- Lead the development of technical and safety competencies for frontline employees across North America.
- Take a data‑driven approach to planning, implementing, and overseeing training initiatives.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues, technical trainers, and key business stakeholders to ensure effective and relevant learning experiences that align with operational needs.
- 5+ years of progressive and successful experience as a Supervisor Installation Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
- Experience in new equipment installation and modernization of elevators and escalators, or related industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical field.
- Experience in technical training and apprenticeship program development is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in data management and analytical skills to support decision‑making.
- Ability to align learning strategies with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple learning initiatives with competing priorities.
Annual base pay range: $126,600 – $166,215.
Variable compensation: KONE annual bonus plan at 15% target incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
