Job Summary:

As a Shelf Edge Manager, you'll lead all initiatives for store‑wide shelf management, price image, and rotation. You’ll be responsible for general Shelf Edge department functions, while the scope and complexity of work may increase depending on your level of classification.

• Management/Sales:
  Spends the majority of time using independent judgment to make or recommend employment‑related decisions—hiring, promotion, transfer, discipline, suspension, discharge, or reward—and resolves partner‑related matters. Collaborates with all departments and all levels of partners, management, and store leadership; serves as subject‑matter expert on total‑store Shelf Edge processes; leads and coaches partners; holds partners accountable for following SOPs; monitors/budgets department payroll; maintains inventory and organization of Shelf Edge supplies;
  
  collaborates with vendors and suppliers; coordinates store‑executed shelf edge activities; manages product shelf assignment (PSA); ensures plan‑o‑gram integrity; maintains all updates and compliance; executes discontinued product process per SOP; ensures accurate marketing activities; manages hanging, pulling, printing, and replenishing coupons; ensures timely tag application; performs audits for ad accuracy and signage; assists in weekly accuracy assessments.
• Sanitation/Safety:
  Ensures compliance with all company regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, refrigeration, and sanitation; replaces and orders Shelf Edge fixtures to maintain appearance and safety; performs audits for product date rotation per SOP.
• Customer Service:
  Provides and coaches on superior customer service focused on hospitality; answers customer questions regarding products; helps customers locate merchandise.

• Work Experience:
  
  of experience in department— in management— comparable retail experience; of experience in the Shelf Edge department— in management— comparable retail experience.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Understanding of product integrity; strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills; strong organization and planning skills; computer skills (Microsoft Office, H‑E‑B systems, conference call systems); ability to supervise and train staff; ability to communicate and influence all partner levels; ability to adapt to stressful situations; ability to make timely decisions; ability to manage multiple priorities; ability to interpret basic financial and mathematical operations affecting store impact.
• Education:
  
  SORM or equivalent.
• Required.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Forklift / power jack training.
