Maintenance Technician Type

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our facility team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and building systems to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations.

Experience with PLC programming is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently.

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery, equipment, and building systems
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and take corrective actions
• Assisting with installation of new equipment and upgrades
• Responding to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns promptly
• Utilizing PLC programming knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize automated systems (as applicable)
• Documenting maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts usage accurately
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement

• Proven experience in industrial or facility maintenance required
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with PLCs and basic programming (Allen-Bradley preferred) is a plus
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing physical tasks for extended periods
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and on a team
