Warehouse Clerk

Overview:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the warehouse clerk will work under the related SOPs for dispensing raw ingredients and components for production, driving forklift, staging and organizing warehouse, quarantine and sampling procedures.

Responsibilities:

Tag properly all containers; be familiar with storage conditions and expiration dates for individual raw ingredients or finished products.

Quarantine ingredients upon receiving; work closely with Quality Assurance Department for Correctness of information and release quarantined materials;

Dispense the types and amounts of materials that are required in the production batch records

Perform sampling of raw materials for testing according to the related standard operation procedure.

Identify containers and vessels with the appropriate information to indicate the product being contained or processed; familiar with returned dietary supplements SOP.

Must be able to load and unload raw materials compounded batches;

Must be able to drive forklift;

Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance;

Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and c GMP guidelines

Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Physical ability to repetitively lift, stands, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environment

Shift Schedule: 2nd shift Monday through Thursday 3:30 P.M.

- 2:00 A.M., with some overtime as needed.

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Experience:

Prior warehousing experience required

Education/Certification/ Licenses & Registrations:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Skills:

Ability to write simple correspondence;
Basic mathematical skills

Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
