Material Handler; Night shift

Position Summary

The Material Handler will assist with the sheetfed press to facilitate non‑stop operation.

6pm-6am on a rotating schedule.

• Organize production and supporting materials such as paper, ink and plates.
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly press maintenance.
• Lifting and stacking pallets, cardboard and printed materials.
• Operate hand-jacks, forklifts or other similar equipment to move materials from shipping, receiving and staging areas to and from the press.
• Assist in plate/blanket replacement.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other assigned duties as required by management.

• Ability to operate hand jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to follow and carry out instruction with excellent attention to detail.
• Positive and professional interpersonal skills required.
• Effective oral and written communication.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in shipping and/or supply‑chain systems within a warehouse environment preferred.

• Must have the ability to read, write and effectively communicate with crew members and other employees in the manufacturing/warehouse areas.
