Position: Registered Nurse, RN (Part Time- Days) - PACU Main

Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Main

Work location:

Texas Health Allen 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013

Work hours:

Part Time – 20 Hours;
Weekends;
Two 10-hour shifts per week, including on-call requirements

Here’s What You Need
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nurse Program
  • BSN preferred
  • At least 1 year of critical care experience as a registered nurse strongly preferred
  • RN
    - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
  • BCLS
    - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
  • ACLS
    - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And
  • PALS
    - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire Pref And
What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
