** Summary of the role

** General Duties and Responsibilities****:
*** Ensures that product documentation is in accordance with Quality System requirements.
* Co-operates with the Quality and Operations departments in training and assigning Quality Technicians in support of production schedules.
* Assists Quality Management in investigating issues relating to device production and testing, as well as Quality Management System (QMS) related issues.
* Maintains the work times records and time off as needed for the Quality Technicians being supervised. Enforcing absenteeism standards and other HR policies.
* Contributes to product and process enhancements for new R&D products, inspection and testing, as well as during sustaining engineering of commercial products.
* Receives, inspects, tests, and appropriately documents incoming components, assemblies, and finished goods.
* Collaborates with Quality and Operations engineers and supervisors to resolve nonconformances. Maintains proper material labeling and dispositioning in inventory.
* Maintains and completes lot inspection records, reports, and other required documents.
* Tests and manages resulting documentation when needed.
* Contributes to product enhancements aimed at improving yields and manufacturability and applies proper GMP/ISO test methodologies.
* Supports quality inspections and testing during assembly and packaging process operations per procedures.
* Contributes to developing and implementing inspection fixtures, measurement systems, and calibration procedures.
* Can substitute for any Quality Control Technicians who are out of the office.
* Trains Quality Control Technicians in the project group as needed and may train Operations or other departmental staff as well on QMS topics.
* Helps promote employee adherence to safe procedures and practices throughout the company.
* Support and monitor environmental monitoring (EM) and particle count activities; ensure timely data review and trend reporting.
* Coordinate and perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support ERP transactions related to inventory and quality holds.
* Manage and support the company’s Business Process Improvement Initiative.
** Qualifications****:
*** High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field is preferred.
* 5 years quality experience in medical devices inside the cleanroom.
* 3 years supervisor experience.
* Computer skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
* Proficiency in using standard inspection and measurement equipment.
* Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent verbal, written, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of quality management systems, quality standards (like ISO), and relevant regulatory requirements.
* Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
* Experience with problem-solving methodologies and quality tools (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Whys, CAPA processes).
* Experience with Class II or III high-risk medical devices is a plus.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.#LI-NS1
