- Prepare inspection plans and procedures/instructions, communicate them, and assure implementation by providing guidance and support.
- Identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Keep record of inspection results and ensure correct calibration of measurement equipment.
- Apply quality tools, methods, and systems, with familiarity with continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma.
- Carry out and submit material and work inspections for quality and results.
- Communicate inspection and audit results to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead quality assurance in the factory production environment by identifying improvement opportunities, preparing inspection plans, and conducting first‑article sample tests.
- Train operators, perform manufacturing process audits, and serve as the primary quality contact for production.
- Work closely with Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers and Production team to maintain quality output.
- Perform sample tests and process audits, ensuring the measurement system is correctly implemented; create reports regarding quality measurements and inspections.
- Inspect incoming material and prepare summary of inspection results for suppliers and product owners.
- Perform daily production audits and document findings.
- Communicate inspection and audit results to stakeholders such as Quality Manager/Engineer and Production supervisors.
- Manage third‑party tool calibration process.
- Perform tests on Return Material Authorization (RMA) products.
- Reconcile warranty claims and identify improvement opportunities to mitigate recurrence.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
- 3+ years of progressive and successful experience in Quality/testing.
- High School Diploma or Relevant Testing/Quality certifications required (engineering background preferred).
- Working knowledge of Lean and Quality tools, methods, and systems.
- Working knowledge of 5S.
- Knowledge of measurement and test equipment tools appropriate for various applications and understanding of calibration standards.
- Working knowledge with Lean and Quality tools, methods, and systems.
- Working knowledge on 5S.
- Knowledge of which measurement and test equipment tools are appropriate for various applications and how to assess tool accuracy and precision. Must understand the concept of calibration standards.

The hiring range for this role is $54,800 – $71,925. The compensation package offered will depend on candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Variable CompensationKONE Operations Supply Line Bonus plan at $250 per quarter based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
