Position:
Busser

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated and deliver chips and salsa
• Clear tables after guests
• Take soiled tableware to the dish room and unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, and glassware in designated areas in the soiled dish drop-off area
• Between seatings, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths; check floors and bathrooms and clean as required
• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests, communicating them to the server as needed
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
• Maintain a clean and organized service area
• Thank guests as they are leaving
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation as directed by the restaurant manager or director

• Valid Food Handlers Certification

• Basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures
• Understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist coworkers as needed
• Ability to clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently
• Ability to carry trays, dishes, and supplies safely

• Minimum 17 years of age
• Restaurant experience in hospitality environment preferred, but not required
• Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 60 lbs
• Exposure to varying temperatures (hot kitchen and cold walk-ins)

• Wash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching face or hair, or handling food prep
