DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities
- Grease bearings, fittings, and other necessary parts of yellow iron equipment daily.
- Assists with inspections and maintenance of trucks, tanks, and other components and reports any mechanical issues with yellow iron equipment to Fuel Supervisor immediately.
- Actively always demonstrates teamwork.
- Manages any stress on the job, including but not limited to meeting service deadlines.
- Always adheres to company safety standards.
The duties described above are not inclusive. Additional duties may be permanently assigned or required from time to time due to the need to respond to customer needs and remain competitive in the marketplace.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Valid driver's license
- Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.
- Must be able to follow directions.
- Must be a team player.
- Mechanical aptitude to perform daily inspections on grease truck and yellow iron equipment.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to manage stress.
- Must be available for work 4:30am-7pm Monday through Saturdays
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to machines and chemicals at various times. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
