Join Our Team as a Material Handler at Epiroc!

Work Type:Onsite

Your Mission:Ensure the efficient and safe flow of materials within the warehouse by accurately receiving, moving, storing, and staging them for production and shipping. Additionally, manage pallet recycling and reuse activities to optimize resources, reduce waste, and support the company’s sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
• Stage materials for production and shipping as required.
• Verify counts and condition of materials and report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and organization of storage areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of materials and products.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Pallet Recycling:

• Collect and sort used pallets from various areas of the warehouse and shipping/receiving docks.
• Inspect pallets for damage and determine if they can be repaired, reused, or recycled.
• Coordinate pallet returns with vendors or recycling partners.
• Maintain accurate records of pallet quantities and recycling activity.
• Ensure pallet storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Promote and support the company’s sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.

Your profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of pallet types, conditions, and recycling processes a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic computer or inventory system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
