Job Title: Logistics Development / Continuous Improvement Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Logistics Development / Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our warehouse operations team in Allen, TX
. The ideal candidate will have experience driving process improvements within a warehouse or distribution center environment, with strong expertise in the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role focuses on optimizing warehouse operations, improving efficiency, and supporting system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve warehouse and logistics processes to increase operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation, configuration, and optimization of Manhattan WMS
    .
  • Partner with warehouse operations, IT, and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Monitor KPIs and recommend solutions to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
  • Troubleshoot operational and system-related issues within the warehouse environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or continuous improvement.
  • Hands‑on experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required.
  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with warehouse process mapping, KPI analysis, and operational optimization.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting WMS implementations or system enhancements.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
