Starting Wage: $17.57 with CDA; $16.30 without CDA
Date of Employment: 2026-27 School Year calendar
Work Schedule:
Part-time (Monday-Friday from 8:15am-12:15pm. This position includes 30 minutes before class and 30 minutes after class.)

DescriptionA Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Part-Time Associate Teacher with the Allendale Public Schools District.
QualificationsChild Development Associate (CDA) credential is required but will discuss options if you do not have a CDA. High school diploma.
Essential Job FunctionsMust be self-motivated, with a positive attitude, with high standards. Must have a strong work ethic. Must have the ability and willingness to do physical tasks. Must be able to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships with other employees, along with the public. Ability to work independently and within a team. Able to work well with children at the preschool level;
able to follow guidelines, procedures, and discipline consistent with the current classroom policy. Able to take direction from the classroom teacher.

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but distractions can be frequent due to building traffic.
Mental Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate.
