Starting Wage: $15.67 per hour
Hours Needed: 7:30am - 8:30am Wednesday & Thursday AND 3:15pm - 5:30pm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Must be available to cover 6 hour shifts on 1/2 and no school days. This position is part of the Allendale Support Personnel Association. Please see agreement on website for more information.
Qualifications:
Must have a passion for working with children, ages 5 yrs to rising 6th graders Ability to provide a nurturing, safe, and caring environment First Aid and CPR training preferred Self-directed, able to multitask and work with parents
Requirements:
Complete 7 hours of Health & Safety modules prior to the start date Complete at least 16 hours (minimum) of Professional Development (PD) training Federal Fingerprinting ($65 - pd by prospective employee) CPR/1st Aid Training Mi Registry/MiVirtual account set up for new staff TB test and negative results (required for GTF licensing)
Essential job functions:
Supervise student activities indoors and outdoors Working with small and large groups on and whole class basis Manage student behaviors Follow directions from supervisor and other staff members

The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate, but distractions can be frequent due to building traffic. Mental Functions:
