Salary Range: $64,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of control system components.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and control systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and other PLC programming languages.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and configuration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA and HMI systems beyond basic control panels.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Understanding of SQL databases and data acquisition from PLCs.
• Experience with robotic integration and programming.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for data analysis or custom applications.
