Reliability Engineer | Allendale, MI
Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Reliability Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize maintenance procedures and schedules to improve asset reliability.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential failure modes.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate reliability principles into new equipment design and existing systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and best practices for reliability improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focused on reliability engineering.
- Proficient in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other problem-solving methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with predictive and preventative maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle costing.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems for tracking maintenance activities and asset performance.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) certification.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies like Apollo RCA, FMEA, or 5-Why.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python) for reliability data.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
- Experience in leading or participating in cross-functional improvement projects.
