Quality Manager | Allendale, MI

Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Allendale region seeking Quality Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and manage internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Oversee root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
• Manage supplier quality performance and incoming material inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification from ASQ.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes and procedures.
