The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has a current position available for a seasonal, full time Clerical Assistant 2 at Frances Slocum State Park. If you are energetic, efficient, and detail oriented, this may be perfect for you!
This position performs a wide variety of moderately complex clerical and public contact activities at Frances Slocum State Park.
Responsibilities include:
- Operation of the Aspira system on a daily basis
- Accounting of all monies collected from income sources
- Prepare, file, and submit monthly equipment sheets, employee program attendance, and volunteer records
- Prepare monthly automotive reports and complete monthly oil and gas summary for fuel usage

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full‑time, seasonal employment with no healthcare benefits
- No option to buy into health care benefits
- Days/shifts will vary, work 5 days/37.5 hours per week to include holidays and weekends
- Season runs from approximately February 2026 until October 2026; employee will be placed on leave without pay
- Employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately February 2027

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin at the starting hourly rate of $18.46 (before taxes) - Further communication regarding this position will be via email; check email, including spam/junk folders, for notices
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of experience and training
- You must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement
- You must be able to perform essential job functions
