Job Description- Handling inquiries:
Serve as the first point of contact for the office. This includes assisting visitors and walk‑ins, answering the admissions phone, and responding to emails. Greet visitors, answer telephone calls, and respond to emails about admissions and the application process. - Processing applications:
Assisting with the processing of applications and supporting documentation such as transcripts and test scores. Review applications, verify information for accuracy, and ensure completeness. - Maintaining records:
Updating and maintaining student information in databases and/or physical files. Maintain student records, update and/or create databases, and organize application files in a neat and timely manner. Review, enter, and maintain prospective and new student records. This includes, but is not limited to, processing applications and transcripts, entering test scores, and scanning admissions documents. - Scheduling and coordination:
Scheduling tours, meetings, and other admissions events. - Communication:
Effectively communicating with partner schools, prospective students, families, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in‑person. Provide information about the admissions process, answer questions, and communicate with applicants and their families. - Administrative tasks:
General office support, including preparing documents, filing, handling mail, ordering supplies, and preparing admission reports. Update and maintain procedural manuals. - Supporting Admissions & Enrollment events/efforts:
Assist with department activities and events, including Open Houses, Crusader Experience, campus tours, Shadow Days, and preparing materials. Assist with activities such as emailings and preparing information packets. - Problem‑solving:
Assisting with problem‑solving related to admissions inquiries and issues. - Collaboration:
Working with other departments and staff to ensure smooth admissions operations. - Student Ambassadors:
Assist with duties related to Student Ambassadors, including scheduling and supervision. - Other duties as assigned:

- Organizational skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and their corresponding deadlines, prioritize, and maintain accurate records. - Customer service skills:
Providing high‑level support and guidance to prospective students and families. - Communication skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Clearly and effectively communicate with a diverse range of people. - Technical proficiency:
Experience with office equipment (computers, scanners, etc.). Proficiency with the Google Suite, including but not limited to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, along with tools like Google Calendar, Google Chat, and Google Sites. Additionally, proficiency with the Microsoft suite’s productivity applications, like Word and Excel. Experience working in Student Management Systems, particularly Rediker, is preferred. - Attention to detail:
Accuracy in reviewing applications, entering data, and preparing documents. - Interpersonal skills:
Ability to build positive relationships with various stakeholders. - Confidentiality:
Maintaining discretion when handling sensitive student information.
