Clerical, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
As a Clerical Assistant 2 with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, you will help keep office operations running smoothly while working with dedicated staff. This position plays an important role in supporting office operations, assisting staff, and helping the public.
Responsibilities- Timekeeping Support: Review timesheets, calculate overtime, maintain work schedules, and enter time in SAP.
- Public Interaction: Assist callers, visitors, and email inquiries by providing information or directing them to the correct staff member.
- Record Management: Maintain files, Hazardous Substance database, automotive database, and conference room reservation system.
- Dispatch and Reporting: Assist with dispatcher duties, and record fire and weather information.
- Permit and Revenue Processing: Issue and enter camping permits, fuelwood permits, stone permits, and other sale items via Aspira system.
- Office Operations: Prepare mail, type correspondence, open IT tickets, and maintain office supplies and publications.
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours:
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a 30‑minute lunch. - No telework option.
- Salary:
Starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes) for new employees within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (or equivalent).
- Graduation from high school.
- Or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- You must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
