Billing Clerk- Law Firm

Prominent Bucks County law firm has an immediate need for a fulltime billing clerk to perform full-cycle billing functions in Time Slips.

The clerk will review time entries onpre-bills and request revisions of insufficient entries, process edits made by attorneys on pre-bills, and pull backup for cost entries reflected on bills prior to posting and submitting bills for payment. The clerk will become familiar with billing guidelines for all clients and ensure each bill follows those guidelines. The clerk will submit invoices through various billing websites and communicate with adjusters to add new matters to these sites.

The clerk will also have responsibility for specific flat fee matters, including updating group email lists related to each agreement.

Experience with Time Slips or similar billing software is preferred. Familiarity with e-billing is a plus. Experience with the invoice appeal process is preferred but not required.

A high school diploma is required and a minimum of two years of law firm billing experience is strongly preferred. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently.

Must have strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite and an ability to leverage technology in work processes.
