This position supports a residential unit by preparing documents, maintaining records, assisting staff, and helping manage daily communication and scheduling needs. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Document Preparation: Type, copy, distribute, and file memos, correspondence, schedules, summaries, and unit policies
- Record Management: Maintain individual charts, organize files, set up new admissions, and keep information confidential
- Staff Coordination: Prepare daily attendance sheets, process leave slips, and log vacation approvals during bidding periods
- Phone And Mail: Receive calls, take messages, assist visitors, and handle mail pickups and distribution twice daily
- Supply And Forms: Maintain unit forms, operate the photocopier, and order supplies through the EBPro requisition system
- Scheduling Support: Prepare yearly ISP documents, track review dates, and coordinate approval with assigned staff

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours:
8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 1st shift, schedule details including rotating and break days to be discussed during interview. - Hours may change based on operational needs.

- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
