DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
This position provides clerical support across the facility to ensure timely, accurate, and secure handling of information and daily processes. You will assist staff in multiple departments, maintain essential records, and help keep operations running efficiently.
- Timekeeping Support:
Gather and review timesheet information, verify details with staff, and submit accurate records to timekeeping each day - Staffing Coordination:
Input and update schedules, maintain year templates, and ensure absences and attendance are recorded correctly - Office Documentation:
Type and file forms, reports, correspondence, and other materials from handwritten or printed sources - Reception and Communication:
Route calls and visitors, compose routine correspondence, and ensure information is correct and complete - Supply and Equipment Tasks:
Maintain inventory levels, order needed materials, and verify received items through established procedures

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed.

You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes). - You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. - Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal h istory reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
