Position Overview:
The Project Manager plays a critical role in the successful execution of assigned restoration and construction projects. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, coordination, and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager works closely with Estimators, Carpenters, Subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate communication, resolve challenges, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong leadership skills to guide teams through complex restoration projects. This role requires adaptability, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned construction and restoration projects
- Coordinate closely with Estimators, Carpenters, and Subcontractors to ensure project goals are met
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
- Communicate project progress, updates, and challenges to internal teams and stakeholders
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or restoration project management
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites as required
- Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
- Maintains an up-to-date list of qualified and reliable subcontractors, ensuring efficient project execution and timely completion
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials with experience managing residential and commercial projects
- Meticulous approach to project planning, scheduling, and quality control to ensure work meets company and client standards
Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate documentation, permits, and schedules
Skills:
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, capable of resolving on-site issues, delays, or material shortages efficiently
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and safety requirements to ensure compliance and safe job sites
- Experience using industry-standard software to track schedules, budgets, and project progress
- Ability to manage budgets, negotiate subcontractor pricing, and control costs without compromising quality
Experience:
- Ability to coordinate, motivate, and hold subcontractors and crews accountable throughout all project phases
- Regular job site visits with exposure to construction environments, varying weather conditions, noise, and required safety gear
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of sitting while driving and working at a desk
- Exposure to standard construction job site conditions
