Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist Oncologist to join two well‑established cancer programs at Geisinger Scenery Park Cancer Clinic in State College, PA and Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, PA. Geisinger offers a unique opportunity for early‑career and experienced hematology/oncology physicians to develop their careers and be part of a well‑established, physician‑led organization. Our providers work with a collaborative team that includes surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver quality cancer care.
Job DutiesGeisinger provides an intellectual environment that includes the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, more than 50 graduate medical education programs, and fellowship programs in hematology/oncology and palliative medicine. The health system has been awarded NCI‑NCORP designation and is committed to cancer clinical trial participation. Physicians collaborate with fellows and residents to train the next generation of hematology and oncology specialists, and have opportunities for clinical or informatics research in collaboration with Geisinger and partner organizations.
