UTPATIENT PRIMARY CARE PRACTICES
Kids Care: a large group of pediatricians and APs (approximately 10) serve
a primarily under served pediatric patient population at three inner city site:
Bethlehem,
Allentown and Easton. Significant quantities of patients are Spanish speaking and
translation services are available to support delivery of care. Patient interactions consist
of medically complex as well as routine sick and well child visits with average annual
volume of 24,000. Support from RNs and medical social worker(s) is on site. Kids Care
serves as a clinical site for the Family Practice and Emergency Medicine residents as well
as the third year medical students. Average call is 1:6 weekends and 1:6 weeknights for a
full time physician. Current need is for a physician and an advanced practitioner in either
full time or part time capacities.
Palmerton Pediatrics: located at 217 Franklin Avenue Palmerton, PA 18071,
this solo practice with long standing roots in a small town community serves mostly
commercially insured patients with some participation in Medical Assistance. There is
an opportunity to share call with other St. Lukes established pediatric practices in the
region. Current need is for a full time physician.
Pocono Pediatric Associates: this well-established, four physician practice
located at 208 Lifeline Road, Suite 201 Stroudsburg, PA, is just minutes from the scenic
Pocono Mountains. The practice serves a predominately commercially insured patient
population with some participation in Medicaid Assistance. anticipates adding
to the growth of this already vibrant practice with the opening of its closely located and
newest hospital, Monroe Campus, in Fall 2016. Current need is for a
full time physician, but qualified part time applicants will be considered.
