Part-Time Instructional Assistant - High School
Salisbury Township School District has a part-time vacancy in the position of Instructional Assistant at the High School. The successful candidate will support students, teachers, and administrators in the learning environment by reinforcing knowledge, skills, and strategies in both one-to-one and small and large group settings. Knowledge of the process of instruction and assessment is preferred. The Instructional Assistant must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and build and maintain positive working relationships.
The position is full-time, 4 hours/day, Monday-Friday, starting salary $21.07/hour.
Qualifications:
Preferred 2 years of college of PA credential certificate, CPR/First Aid certification; competency with written and spoken English language; ability to effectively communicate with young children and adults; ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision; ability and willingness to collaborate; basic understanding of the teaching, learning, and assessment process; ability to plan and organize efficiently and effectively; and ability to work ethically and professionally.
