Project Engineer - Water​/Wastewater, Plant​/Mechanical

Position Overview:

We are seeking individuals with 5+ years of Engineer / Project Engineer experience, who are familiar with heavy construction and who have a focus on water plants, wastewater plants, industrial electrical, and industrial facilities. Ideal candidates possess strong personal initiative, excellent planning and problem‑solving capabilities, effective interpersonal skills, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

• Able to review, coordinate, submit, and track all project submittals
• Write construction‑work plans, including form/pour drawings, major pick plans, and layout of pipe/equipment/conduit
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other mechanical and process piping data to plan projects
• Manage project cost and performance with field personnel to track, control, and deliver successful results
• Generate job cost reports for all projects involved
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
• Track and submit claims and changes in scope

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related
• 5+ years of experience working in the mechanical/plant/electrical industry
• Ability to meet fast‑paced, changing schedules and priorities
• Keen awareness of industry recommended practices
• OSHA 10‑Hour Certification required
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Local projects (within 1–2 hours of the main office)

• Industrial electrical construction experience, a plus
• Site pipe and site civil experience, a plus
