Position OverviewJoin our team of leaders in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing, engineering, and training. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a New Grad Electrical Engineer – Power Studies Associate.
Responsibilities- Electrical Engineering Studies: Perform electrical engineering studies, including power factor analysis, harmonic modeling, grounding analysis, short‑circuits, protective device coordination, and arc‑flash studies for domestic and international projects.
- Engineering Design and Analysis: Provide engineering‑related design, analysis, and studies. Design and troubleshoot protective relaying and controls.
- Field Services Support: Occasionally work with the Field Services team on shutdown, startup, installation, and maintenance projects.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to gather critical information, review engineering plans, and maintain professional relationships.
- Hands‑on Engineering: Be hands‑on with the engineering and field service group.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a graduation date on or before December 2025. Prefer candidates with an educational focus in Power Systems studies.
- Field Work: Willingness to be hands‑on and work in the field alongside our field technicians.

Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, Easy Power, or other power system modeling software is a plus. - Communication: Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods, and effectively communicate directly to customers and co‑workers.
- Experience: Knowledge or high level understanding of performing protective relay projects, short‑circuit, protective device coordination, arc‑flash, and power quality studies is a plus. Utility design experience is a plus.
USD $34.00 – $42.00 per year.
