Are you an Automation Engineer or Controls Engineer with PLC experience looking to join a highly automated manufacturing environment with strong long-term progression?

This role is a backfill due to internal promotion into a Supervisor position, giving clear visibility of progression within the team.
This role suits an Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, or PLC Engineer with Allen Bradley programming experience looking for a stable, hands‑on role with clear development opportunities.
The Role- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled automation systems (Allen Bradley)
- Respond to breakdowns and complex fault finding across production lines
- Support continuous improvement and engineering project work
- Work closely with electrical and maintenance teams in a highly automated facility
- Support high-speed manufacturing operations
- 2-2-3 night shift (7pm-7am) with ~1-2 months day shift training
- Background in automation, controls, or electrical engineering within manufacturing
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing (automotive, packaging, bottling, food & beverage, pharma, etc.)
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Medium voltage / switch gear experience is a plus
- Comfortable working a night shift pattern
