Civil Project Manager (Roadway & Highway) — Pennsylvania

A growing, nationally recognised multi-disciplined engineering consultancy is hiring a Project Manager for its Pennsylvania transportation practice.

This is a role for an experienced PM who wants variety and ownership — leading complex roadway and highway projects for state DOTs, municipalities, and private clients, while helping win the next ones on a team with a strong PennDOT and PA Turnpike client base.

What you'll do

• Lead roadway, highway, and interstate projects through the full PennDOT project development process, coordinating design across highway, bridge, and traffic disciplines to deliver turnkey projects
• Own project management — cost control, budget control, and QA/QC
• Contribute to business development: networking, SOQs, proposals, contracts, and presentations to elected officials and advisory boards
• Research and apply local, state, and federal regulations
• Mentor less experienced staff in technical production and the PennDOT process

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of experience in design of roadways, highways, and interstates
• Experience managing PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and/or city and county transportation projects funded with local, state, and/or federal money
• Excellent communication and client-relation skills, with strong organization and leadership
• Ability to work independently and produce complete, reviewable deliverables
• B.S. in Engineering (or related) and an active PE license (required)
