Heidelberg Materials seeks an Electrical Engineer to support plant operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will design, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power, control, and automation systems for cement and aggregates facilities. Responsibilities include improving equipment reliability, supporting capital projects, optimizing energy use, and ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes. You'll partner with maintenance, operations, and project teams to resolve downtime issues, implement preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a safety-focused, collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot plant electrical power and control systems
- Support and optimize PLC, motor control, and automation equipment
- Lead or support capital and reliability improvement projects
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive electrical maintenance plans
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and company safety standards
- Analyze downtime and equipment failures to drive root cause solutions
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams on daily plant support
- Document electrical drawings, standards, and equipment specifications
